Research Interests
Dr. Joshua Muscat is an epidemiologist with a research interest in the causes and prevention of cancer. He previously worked at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the American Health Foundation in New York. His work has included studies on environmental pollutants and cancer, and he has served as an adviser to federal and state regulatory agencies.
Dr. Muscat’s interests include understanding the causes of racial differences in cancer risk, including the smoking behaviors, individual factors and diet.
