Couples Retreat
A place to talk about what often goes unsaid
Each fall, individuals diagnosed with advanced cancer and their partners join other couples in similar circumstances for a three-day retreat hosted by the Penn State Cancer Institute Cancer Assistance and Resource Education (CARE) Center. The retreat is held at The Nature Inn in Pennsylvania’s picturesque Bald Eagle State Park. It offers couples a unique opportunity to connect with others and explore their individual and shared experiences. Couples often see their experiences through new eyes as they give voice to what is most important and meaningful to them - including what’s real, what’s true and what often goes unsaid.
