Directions and Parking
Signs are posted along roadways throughout the Medical Center campus to direct patients and visitors to surface parking lots and to the parking garage. Additional signage will be posted in the event of construction and special events, or parking lot and garage closings. After dark and upon request, security staff is available to escort visitors to personal vehicles on campus. Security can be reached at 717-531-8711.
Parked vehicles that obstruct traffic, obstruct other parked vehicles, or hinder Medical Center operations may be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.
Cancer Institute Patient Parking
A special parking permit is needed to park in Cancer Institute Lot M2. Patients who are physically disabled or are currently receiving treatment/ therapy may request a parking permit from a staff member. Please bring the parking permit with you to every appointment. To park in Cancer Institute Lot M2, you must present the parking permit to the attendant upon your arrival. You will not be granted access to this designated lot without the parking permit. A special permit is also needed to park in spaces designated for radiation therapy.
Parking is available in the Centerview Parking Garage (Campus Map English/Spanish) located to the left of the Medical Center’s main entrance. Shuttle service is available between the Centerview Parking Garage and the main hospital entrance. The shuttle operates between the hours of 5:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Shuttle stop signs are posted along the shuttle route.
Reserved handicapped spaces are available in all parking lots and in the parking garage.
Valet parking is available at the main entrance for patients and visitors for a nominal fee per vehicle. Those with a disabled designated vehicle may valet park at no charge. Valet parking is available from 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. After 5:30 p.m., your keys will be available at the main information desk.

CT Scan (Radiology) - 717-531-3799
Performed in multiple locations. You will be notified of the location once the scan is scheduled.
CT Guided Biopsy (Radiology) - 717-531-1049
You will be called with directions and instructions.
Echocardiogram - 717-531-8304
This is located on the first floor of the main hospital. Check in at the Heart and Vascular Institute (take the North hallway to the North Entrance).
Endoscopy - 717-531-8364
Use entrance Number 4 at the University Physician Center. Second Floor – Suite 2100
Gamma Knife - 717-531-4889
Proceed down the South hallway to the South Annex of the main hospital building. This is the building between the south wing of the hospital and the south parking garage.
Interventional Radiology - 717-531-6400
Take the north elevator to the ground floor; the check-in desk is visible when you exit the elevator.
Mammogram/ Breast Ultrasound/Breast MRI - 717-531-5321

HVOC will call with directions between Noon and 4:00 p.m. one day prior to your appointment. They will leave a message on the phone for you to call to get instructions (24 hours).
MRI - 717-531-3799
Performed at various locations. You will be notified of the location when the MRI is scheduled. An MRI cannot be done if you have a pacemaker.

This is done in Nuclear Medicine. Take the North elevators to the ground floor; the check-in desk is visible when you exit the elevator.
Pulmonary Function Testing - 717-531-8962
This is done in the University Physician Center, Entrance 4, Suite 2018. Take the elevator to the second floor.
Thoracentesis (Ultrasound) - 717-531-1049
Take the Radiology elevator to ground floor. Make a complete left turn and follow signs to the check-in desk down the hallway.
