Directions and Parking

Parking

Patients who have mobility restrictions can park in Lot M1. Shuttle service is available to the Cancer Institute entrance between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Centerview Parking Garage is also available for all patients to park and walk to the hospital.

Signs are posted along roadways throughout the Medical Center campus to direct patients and visitors to surface parking lots and to the parking garage. Additional signage will be posted in the event of construction and special events, or parking lot and garage closings. After dark and upon request, security staff is available to escort visitors to personal vehicles on campus. Security can be reached at 717-531-8711.

Parked vehicles that obstruct traffic, obstruct other parked vehicles, or hinder Medical Center operations may be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.

Visitor Parking

Parking is available in the Centerview Parking Garage, located to the left of the Medical Center’s main entrance. Shuttle service is available between the Centerview Parking Garage and the main hospital entrance. The shuttle operates between the hours of 5:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Shuttle stop signs are posted along the shuttle route.

Handicapped Parking

Reserved handicapped spaces are available in all parking lots and in the parking garage.

Valet Parking

Valet parking is available at the main entrance for patients and visitors for a nominal fee per vehicle. Those with a disabled designated vehicle may valet park at no charge. Valet parking is available from 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. After 5:30 p.m., your keys will be available at the main information desk.

Performed in multiple locations. You will be notified of the location once the scan is scheduled.

This is located on the first floor of the main hospital. Check in at the Heart and Vascular Institute (take the North hallway to the North Entrance).

Use entrance 4 at the University Physician Center to reach the Endoscopy Center. Second Floor – Suite 2100

Gamma Knife717-531-4889

Proceed down the South hallway to the south annex of the main hospital building for Gamma Knife Radiosurgery. This is the building between the south wing of the hospital and the south parking garage.

HVOC will call with directions between Noon and 4:00 p.m. one day prior to your appointment. They will leave a message on the phone for you to call to get instructions (24 hours).

Performed at various locations. You will be notified of the location when the MRI is scheduled. An MRI cannot be done if you have a pacemaker.

This is done in Nuclear Medicine. Take the North elevators to the ground floor; the check-in desk is visible when you exit the elevator.

This is done in the University Physician Center, Entrance 4, Suite 2018. Take the elevator to the second floor.
