Jonathan G. Stine, MD MSc, FACP, joined the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2017. Dr. Stine earned his undergraduate degree from Penn State. He was awarded his medical degree and completed internal medicine residency and chief medical residency at Georgetown University. He completed Gastroenterology Fellowship and Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at the University of Virginia during which time he was an NIDDK T32 fellow. Dr. Stine's clinical and research areas of expertise include nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, coagulation disorders in chronic liver disease, drug-induced liver injury and liver transplantation. In addition to his medical interests, Dr. Stine is an avid runner and triathlete and enjoys a regular yoga practice.
